I have over 30 years of experience creating strategic brand and marketing communications that express core values and brand identity. My expertise is building brands through effective messaging and communication strategy, website strategy and design, digital and print marketing communications, product and service naming and launch strategy, consumer packaging, interpretive and wayfinding graphic systems, and the creation of logos and brandmarks.
I am the founder of colab interactive and am responsible for the creative direction and execution of all projects. At colab we build integrated brand strategy and interactive communications for higher education, including brand communications, website strategy, planning, and design, recruiting and enrollment campaigns, research and discovery focus groups and surveys, competitive analysis, information architecture and user experience, and online/offline content strategy and development.
My work has appeared in the UCDA Design Competition, AIGA annuals, Communication Arts, Print, How, and American Center for Design annuals.
I have developed higher education projects for Trinity University, Texas A&M University, St. Edward's University, the University of San Diego, National University, and San Diego State University. Other clients have included AMN Healthcare, Illumina, Intuit, Intel, Kyocera, Mitchell 1, Nanogen, Qualcomm, The San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, and TaylorMade-adidas Golf.
